The OSO is looking to develop and staged two new plays to be presented at the Barnes Fringe Festival in July.
What they are looking for: full-length, original works, either from companies or plays that have a director and actors in mind – although they ask that they’ve not previously been staged for longer than three weeks.
What you get: the OSO a small, black-box venue in the heart of Barnes, South-West London. They’ll provide rehearsal space, technical assistance and all the rest during the month of the show, as well as personal developmental support: including an opportunity to have a rehearsed reading in front of an audience to test it out. Off the back of audience feedback and a final week’s workshopping with them, the selected plays will then get the chance to perform again as a full production.
How to apply: to find out more and submit your piece, please visit their website (http://www.osoarts. org.uk/oso-writers-group), fill in the submission form and send it along with your script to jamie@osoarts.org.uk
