This week Theatre is the Cure: Worldwide Online Event producers will be developing a show that offers funny and dramatic, hopeful, inspiring, challenging, steeped in truth, monologues.
Every interested playwright who sends an email requesting prompts by 1pm Pacific Time (9pm in London) TODAY, Monday, April 27th shall receive them, and thus an opportunity for inclusion in the show, based SOLELY on the quality of their submission, regardless of previous credits.
Monologues will be judged by a small panel of professional judges without names attached. Monologues will be due within 20 – 24 hours of prompts being sent.
How to get involved?
If you want to be considered to write a monologue that addresses any of the following, or similar, topics send an email to theatreisthecure@gmail.com. Put ARTIST FOR CHANGE in the subject line. You will then be given a topic, prompts and a deadline.
15 monologues will be chosen based on quality and appropriateness for the event.
Deadline: 9pm 27th April 2020 (and 20-24 hours after that)
