The VAULT Festival New Critics Programme is for new & early career arts and culture writers to develop their critical voice.
Taking place at VAULT Festival 2023 (24th January – 19th March), this unique programme provides five participants with expert mentorship from leading industry critics, opportunities to develop an industry network, and free access to VAULT Festival shows.
The New Critics Programme is aimed at new & early career writers, particularly those from under-represented backgrounds. To be eligible you must:
• Be over 18 on or before 24th January 2023.
• Be available to see and review one show per week at VAULT Festival 2023 from Tuesday 24th January – Sunday 19th March 2023. Tickets will be provided for free as part of the programme.
• Have had no formal training or professional experience in arts journalism
