During the course you go through the essential components of writing, particularly focussing on the dramatic action that will keep your play moving forward.

You will be exploring all aspects of playwriting, from structure and form to dialogue and theatrical devices.

In each session you will also analyse a scene in depth, specifically looking at conflict and how the scene moves the story on.

The aim of the course is to help you to find the dramatic core of your story and to employ that successfully throughout your play.
