White Noise Theatre are on the hunt for a male or non-binary actor-writer to
join team PlantGays for their short tour of London and the South-West.
THE PLAY
PlantGays is a new play about the beautiful, strange and meaningful ways queer
people connect with nature. Every performance is different and platforms new
voices and perspectives on why and how queer people have such an affinity to
house plants, gardening, forests and greenery. It is created with a group of actor-
writers in a unique collaborative process – the show is authentic, textured and
never perfect.
WHO
We would love to collaborate with a talented actor-writer who identifies as male
or non-binary. We are interested in someone who performs their own work and
connects with the themes of the play… you may be a spoken word poet, a
playwright or comedian – the nature (pun intended) of the show welcomes all
types of writing and styles. Due to the themes of the show, we encourage
applications from people who identify as LGBTQIA+.
