Write Start with Nick Field

Are you a beginner writer interested in starting a project or in the early stages of one, or are you thinking about integrating creative writing into your current work? This workshop is aimed at helping you do just that by looking at ways of developing your unique voice as a writer, kickstarting your ideas and finding inspiration to write or use creative writing in your projects. Through practical exercises, discussion and feedback we’ll focus on honing your talents and strengths as a writer and embarking on making your ideas into a realised project. Come and find new confidence, energy and inspiration for your writing.
Nick Field is a writer, performer and workshop facilitator. His work has been published widely and produced by major theatres. He has written and performed two solo shows that have toured internationally and his residencies and commissions include Keats House, Ovalhouse and Apples and Snakes. He has created and facilitated workshops for organisations including New Writing South, London Metropolitan Archives, The Poetry School and Stockholm Fringe Festival.
