The Bravo 22 Company are currently looking to commission a new play up to 70 mins with a delivery date of January 30th 2015 and four performances of the production at the studio at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre on 26th-28th March 2015. It is the first play to be commissioned as part of the Bravo 22 Company legacy project following the international success of the project to date. More details are below.
What they are looking for: In their own words:
“We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in this subject matter and has a desire to tell these stories and give a voice to this community group. We aren’t looking for someone who has an agenda already and knows the story they want to tell. You have to respond to what you hear. This community play will be based on the Armed Forces Community in Buckinghamshire and you will be immersed in this world.
We need someone who has the capacity to spend time in Buckinghamshire and immerse themselves. You will need to be approachable, down to earth, quick to adapt to their world and be able to deal sensitively with issues that arise. Some of these stories might have never been spoken about and previously only ever dealt with in isolation. You will have experience of working collaboratively with a director in order to deliver the final production.”
