Are you of East Asian or South East Asian descent and living in the English Midlands region? Are you interested in writing for live performance?
After two years of offering an acting course in Birmingham, YELLOW EARTH ACADEMY is returning this year with a brand new FREE introductory course in writing for live performance.
Over the course of five sessions, participants will have an opportunity to develop their writing skills, meet industry professionals and create a short piece to share with the acting academy.
This course will be held every other week on Wednesdays beginning 3 June until 29 July, 6-9pm. The final session will be on Wednesday 5 August in conjunction with the Acting Academy. Courses will be held at The Birmingham Repertory Theatre , Broad St, Birmingham B1 2EP.

Fill out the application form on the Yellow Earth website and email it along with up to 5 pages of written work (dialogue/a scene/a story/poetry/lyrics) to academy@yellowearth.org.uk with ‘Birmingham Writers’ in the subject line.
