Scripts: An Actor’s Approach

Master Raconteur has organised a one day workshop looking at how an actor approaches a script, run by tutor JULIE GLOVER of ‘Coronation Street’ and ‘Emmerdale’.
This opportunity will benefit aspiring actors but will also be valuable for writers.
- Interrorgating a script, What is it really about?
- Writers – Do you know how to put levels in your script?
- Actors – Do you know how find levels and layers in a script?
- How to use punctuation creatively to communicate.
- Understanding characters and stepping in to their shoes.
- Exploring text and subtext
As with all MR professional workshops there will be a mixture of analysis, technique training and practical exercises.
Julie Glover has a vast experience of acting for screen and theatre and works as a director and acting tutor.
