‘Ouch‘ runs the disability part of the BBC and a podcast with a focus on disabled people and diverse stories. It wants your stories of relationships for a live event.
It is looking for surprising, funny and engaging tales of friendship, dating and love – unrequited or otherwise – that you could tell on stage. You must be disabled, the story true, and it involves disability in some way.
For instance, you are blind and want to speak about the time you thought your partner was snogging someone else in front of you. Or, how your physical differences made intimacy a bit tricky. Or about the unwanted advances of people who assumed you might be easily pleased.
As well as performing it to a friendly crowd it was also be filmed for future use.
More details here and there will be updates on a podcast.
