Are you a theatre maker?
Do you have an idea for a piece, but not sure where to start?
Or do you have an idea, but need some time and space to try it out?
Well the Development Lab, might be for you.
Emerging theatre Maker, Yolanda Mercy and the Lyric Hammersmith have teamed up to offer 10 artists aged 16 – 25 with an opportunity to develop their own work. This can be from a scripted solo theatre show, to a performance art piece.
The selected 10, will have 5 days (from 10am – 6pm) to utilise the Lyric Hammersmith’s brand new Reuben Foundation Wing. Not only that, but they will have:
• A theatre and performance workshop with Yolanda Mercy. (Who will be sharing the tools/approaches that she uses to create work)
• One to one feedback/Mentoring from Yolanda Mercy and the Lyric Hammersmith
• 10 minutes each to share some of their work to the Lyric Hammersmith team and other invited guests
