Unlimited Theatre, with support from Sheffield Theatres, is inviting applications from Emerging Trans Writers to join us for 2 weeks of workshops to develop the script for a new mid-scale musical. in a creative team led by leading trans director and Unlimited Core Artist Jamie Fletcher.

The Emerging Writer will join a team of 4 other leading trans writers and creatives including Krishna Istha and Tabby Lamb for two weeks of R&D at Sheffield Theatres. The aim of the R&D is to develop a first draft of material and structure for the new musical through a writers room style process.

While we are specifically looking for writers to join us for the development of this new trans musical, this call-out is also an opportunity for us to meet new writers for other future projects.
