IdeasTap are running a session on screenwriting this September in London.
This session is an introduction to screenwriting. Jon will dip into the basics of:
- Why Write for Screen?
- What is a Screenplay?
- How to Structure your Screenplay
- How to Write Genre
- Overview of the UK Film Industry
- How to Apply for Funding
There will also be the chance for questions and discussion.

He is supported by Peggy Ramsay Foundation, Ideastap Creative Space and The Kevin Spacey Foundation. He was shortlisted for the Papatango New Writing Prize 2013, Sir Peter Ustinov Television Scriptwriting Award 2013 and took part in the Kudos / Bush Initiative 2013.
