The Old Vic Community Company are looking for five gutsy, fresh and bold new voices to join them as writers on attachment. The opportunity is open to anyone aged 16 or over who has never had their work produced professionally before.
As part of its multi-award-winning community programme, Old Vic New Voices (OVNV) are looking for five fresh new voices to join THE OLD VIC COMMUNITY COMPANY as writers on attachment. Over three years, THE OLD VIC COMMUNITY COMPANY will connect individuals, activate their creativity and empower them with the skills to tackle social issues through theatre.
In Year One they are seeking to identify a group of writers who will be ‘on attachment’ to this company, work closely with the performers and develop new scripts with and for them. You will be given support from the director of THE OLD VIC COMMUNITY COMPANY, Alexander Ferris, and will work closely with professional writers to learn more about the craft.
