Oxford Playhouse accepting submissions for Playhouse Playmaker attachment scheme

Playhouse Playmaker is a Writers Attachment Programme for new and emerging playwrights led by award-winning writer and director John Retallack.

Each year they select up to 6 writers who meet one Saturday a month, at Oxford Playhouse, between October and June. These sessions are used to work on writing techniques, with individual mentoring and feedback on scripts.

This programme is free but selective.

How to apply: application for 2017-2018 is now open – To apply for a place please send an example of your work, at least a 20 page extract or a full length play, to playmaker@oxfordplayhouse.com.  You do not need to have had your worked staged or published.

Deadline: Saturday 1 July 2017 at midnight
