The New Writing Manager (Musical Theatre Initiative) is new post to manage all aspects of Theatre Royal Stratford East’s Musical Theatre Initiative; and help support TRSE’s mission to develop new voices, new audiences and new forms of artistic expression in British Musical Theatre.
The position is offered on a part-time basis, (3 days per week) for an initial fixed-term period of 1 year. The successful candidate should have a proven track-record of developing new musical theatre (as a dramaturg, director and/or composer); and of working with artists from traditional and non-traditional backgrounds.
