TheatreCentre seeking writers for PSHE teaching pilot (paid)

Theatre Centre is piloting a new resource for PSHE teaching that uses audio dramas and an accompanying workshop to facilitate debate and learning on complex, sensitive issues concerning young people.

They are currently seeking expressions of interest around four key themes: consent and sexual relationships, transition, mental health and online safety/responsibility.

How to Apply

Please download and read the attached brief. You will then need to send:

  • a short paragraph explaining your reasons for applying.
  • your writing CV
  • a 300 word scenario treatment
  • a 10 page sample of your scriptwriting

They are looking for writers with at least one professional production on stage or radio.

They are offering all-inclusive fees of £2800 for each Drama Debate commissioned.

Interviews will take place in London on Wednesday 23rd March. If you are based outside London, Skype interviews can be arranged.
