TheatreFest15 seeking one act plays on the theme of slavery (£10 entry fee)

TheatreFest 15 will be held over the weekend of October 9th and 10th at the Gaiety Theatre in the Isle of Man. TheatreFest 15 is set to take centre stage internationally as it pioneers new work for the theatre and is a partnership between the Isle of Man Arts Council and the National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA).

ITheatre Fest 15 was launched on the 27th May 2015 on the Isle of Man backed by NODA and the Isle of Man Arts Council.

  • This year you will have a chance to write a new one act play on the theme of slavery and have your work produced in 2016.

 (The new writing initiative as part of TheatreFest 15 is organised by the Isle of Man Arts Council and the National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA).

How to apply: please read the full terms and conditions before applying. You’ll need to pay the entry fee of £10 by cheque or over the phone – the details as well as full instructions on how to apply are on their site.

The competition is open to all writers over 16 in the British Isles.

Deadline: 4 September 2015 (subject to an extension no later than 31st December 2015)
